The Golenrod crab spider is one of those spiders that changes its colour to match the flower it occupies. here is a sample of that.

Well, I just learned something. I thought they were different spiders! Had no idea about the color change thing. I have noticed that these lil crab spiders seem to be very alert to their surroundings. It's the only type that I've actually watched as it saw the camera and went to hide. :)

They are neat spiders I see a couple each day, sometimes they stick around while I take s couple of shots.

Hi Nature Guide-
I haven't been on this website for awhile, but I'm looking for info on milkweed bugs, milkweed and monarchs. I know the monarch lays it's eggs on the milkweed plant, but I thought there was some relationship between the bugs and the monarchs as well. Do you have the website for the Deralia Nature Inn? I stored it somewhere and can't find it in my notes.
