so did I, Deb!! ... looks so intriguing - photography has re-ignited my interest in nature after a dormant (well, almost) stage these last years - dont work fulltime now, so can explore a bit..:)
Nice to hear from you and glad to hear that you liked the photos. We stayed at Myrtle Beach State Park and spent a lot of time at Brookgreen Gardens and Huntington Beach State Park. The Blue Flag Iris was at Brookgreen Gardens. That digital looked nearly exactly like the Blue Flag right out of the camera. The alligator came as a big surprise while we were watching birds in the old rice plantations. Growing up at Pawleys Island must have been great! Our irises in West Virginia should bloom in a couple of weeks and I'll try to get some digitals of them for you then.

They do say that you are never more than 15ft away from a spider. Pleased that you took a couple of minutes to browse the spider pages. I think I should of made a page for spiders as they are not insects, but we're not professionals so they're insects to us. (even bugs)
