Recently I was able to participate in a hike up to the Trilobite beds located on Mt Stephen near Field, B.C.
Thes Burgess Shale Foundation runs several hikes in this area. The Burgess Shale is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is known for it's extensive fossils of the Cambrian period I believe.

There is a very good exhibit at the Tyrrell Museum on the Burgess Shale.

I enjoy photographing the birds when they visit the sun deck throughout the year. I have had so many different species over the years that I have put them together on a web site. Have a browse, I think you will enjoy it. Birds and Water Continue
